It is my pleasure, on behalf of the Board of Directors and all employees of the Specialized Investment Clusters Company, to present to your esteemed assembly the 26th Annual Report, asking God Almighty to grant us and you success in discussing its agenda for the common good.

DEAR SHAREHOLDERS,

It gives me great pleasure to present to you, in this meeting, a summary of the most important activities undertaken by the company during the year 2021, which you will also find detailed in the attached annual report.


Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and its severe impact, particularly on economic sectors worldwide and in our Arab region, the company remained committed to its investments. The executive management worked diligently to overcome the crisis in order to safeguard the company’s assets, improve its position, and minimize the risks arising from the pandemic.

During the year, the company invested in upgrading its infrastructure, including the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant that complies with international standards, as the current plant had become unsuitable, costly to maintain, and too small to serve the city, which had already reached an occupancy rate of 99%.


The company also took steps to enhance the value of its assets and maximize revenues. Notably, it purchased a building within the Industrial Development Clusters City, which was previously owned by the Housing Bank and fully leased to Safi Company, thereby generating direct profits for the company. In addition, the company acquired a new land plot

The company achieved a net profit of 144,588 JD for the past year, while shareholders’ equity reached 13,461,022 JD, representing an increase of 160%.


In conclusion, I extend my thanks to you, dear shareholders, as well as to my fellow Board members and the executive management for your cooperation and understanding. I pray to Almighty God to protect you, safeguard our country from all harm and disease, and enable the company to soon reach the stage of distributing profits.
